OPPO has become the largest smartphone manufacturer in China since 2016, selling its phones at more than 200,000 retail outlets. OPPO was the top smartphone brand in China in 2019 and was ranked No. 5, in market share, worldwide. OPPO is at the forefront of global 5G commercial use for both NSA and SA networks. Working with its partner Swisscom, OPPO launched the Reno 5G in Switzerland in May 2019, making it the first commercially available 5G mobile phone in Europe.
Project Introduction
OPPO has launched the world's first commercially available 5G smartphone, which is a big deal not only for OPPO but for the entire mobile industry. OPPO hopes to use this product event as an opportunity to not only draw attention to the Reno series, but also to increase brand awareness in new European markets.
Under the slogan “BEYOND THE OBVIOUS,” we crafted an immersive creative concept that brings the extraordinary photographic capabilities of a smartphone to life. Spanning a stunning 2,400 square meters, we designed a fantastical world where imagination meets technology. To highlight the power of the 10x hybrid zoom lens, we adopted a contemporary art approach, transforming everyday objects into oversized, exaggerated installations, captivating visitors with their scale and detail.
Adding to the experience, we curated a spectacular light show to showcase the Reno camera’s ability to capture even the most subtle movements of light in near darkness. This mesmerizing demonstration allowed guests to witness the brilliance of Reno’s lens technology, immersing them in a world where the boundaries of photography are pushed far beyond the obvious.
